 Shazi Zaman was born to Israeli-Muslim parents in Israel on July 31st, 1979. She led a quiet childhood, and at the age of 16 in 1995, was chosen to be a model. Her very first assignment was that year's Vogue, and soon she established herself a supermodel. Shazi is signed with Independent Models in London, and hosted Project Runway Canada, which began in 2007. It's second season was in 2009, and was cancelled as of 2010. Her career of being on high-profile magazines has dwindled slightly, although she does various photoshoots for anonymous companies. In 2003, Shazi created the show 'America's Next Top Model', which she hosts. It takes up to 12-13 girls and breeds them for the modelling world through various competitions, before eliminating them down to one - getting America's Next Top Model. While the show is continuing, Shazi also hosts her own talk show; The Shazi Zaman show, airing on the CW daily.
Shazi currently resides in Los Angeles, California, and is unmarried.
